Firstly we have to confirm whether it is an old děrovací stroj. The grating ruler cannot directly control the gear of the old punching machine. It needs to be converted into an electromagnet or a cylinder type to achieve the control of the punching machine. After the light shuts down, it can start punch automatically.

1. If not, we can install the grating ruler directly;

2. If it is modified, we can install the grating ruler directly too;

3. If it is a děrovací stroj without modification, then we must modify it in advance.

Confirming punch tonnage

There are many models of punching machines. We have to decide the protection height and the model of the safety grating ruler according to the tonnage of the punching machine.

Installing grating bracket

The bracket can be divided into different parts like iron cantilever bracket (T), aluminum cantilever bracket (N), reinforced bracket (J), etc., it’s better to choose the suitable bracket depending on the appearance of the punching machine. There is a collapsible bracket that can be customized for special requests.

Installing the sensor of the grating ruler

The sensors are the transmitter and receiver of the safety light curtain. It should be installed after the bracket.

Installing controller

There are two types of controllers, one is built-in, another is external which has the same effect as the first one.

1. The built-in controller needs to be installed in the electrical box;

2. The external controller is installed generally on the sidewall of the machine, which is convenient for the operator to observe. There are switch buttons and signal prompts on the controller which can improve the safety of the machine.

Commissioning punching machine

After the complete installation of the safety grating ruler, the machine cannot come into use unless it is debugged many times.
